How Your Listing Data Is Shared

This is important to understand: when you list a property with us, your listing data is submitted to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Once submitted, that listing content becomes part of the MLS’s database and is governed by the MLS’s rules.

Your listing information will also be syndicated to public real estate websites such as Zillow, Realtor.com, Homes.com, and others. We do not control how those third-party websites display, store, or use the listing data.

Your listing and property photos will also be automatically displayed on our website at listnowrealty.com. Your personal contact information is not included. You may request that we remove your listing from our website at any time.

How Your Contact Information Is Used

Your personal contact information (name, phone, and email) is never displayed on public-facing websites. It is shared only in the following limited ways:

  • MLS agent remarks: Your contact information is included in the agent-only remarks section of your MLS listing, which is visible only to licensed real estate agents with MLS access.
  • Direct inquiries: When someone calls or contacts us asking about your property, we provide your contact information so they can reach you directly.
  • Live answering service: We use a live answering service that has access to your contact information so they can provide it to callers asking about your property.
  • ShowingTime: If you request that we set up ShowingTime for your listing, your contact information is shared with ShowingTime to facilitate showing requests.

Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide our services or comply with the law.

We work with trusted third-party service providers in categories such as:

  • Payment processing (including Stripe)
  • Website analytics (including Google Analytics)
  • Email and communication tools
  • Customer support and live chat
  • Workflow automation and data storage
  • The MLS and real estate syndication platforms

These providers only receive the information they need to do their jobs and are required to keep it confidential.

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specifically:

  • Account and listing records: kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with brokerage record-keeping rules
  • Financial and transaction records: kept as required by tax and accounting laws (typically several years)
  • Website usage data: kept for a shorter period and used in aggregate form for analytics

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Data Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not store payment card details on our systems. Card information is handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe), which complies with PCI-DSS security standards.
