With a flat fee MLS listing, you—the seller—are the main point of contact for all inquiries. Here’s how communication is handled:
- Phone calls: Public sites like Zillow and Realtor.com will show our office phone number. Our live answering service (Monday-Friday 8 AM to midnight EST, weekends 9 AM to 9 PM EST) will provide your contact information to callers asking about your property.
- Email inquiries: Any emails we receive related to your listing are forwarded directly to you.
- Agent inquiries via MLS: Licensed agents will see your contact info in the MLS’s private remarks, making it clear they should contact you directly for showings, questions, or offers.
Think of your listing like a For Sale By Owner (FSBO) with the added exposure of the MLS. You’re in control, and buyers and agents will reach out to you directly. If something seems off or you’re not receiving inquiries, just let us know—we’re happy to help.
