Yes, you have full control over the commission amount you offer to a buyer’s agent. Following the 2024 NAR settlement, offers of compensation are no longer displayed on the MLS, so buyer’s agents must contact you directly to discuss commission before scheduling a showing.

You can negotiate the commission directly with each buyer’s agent during the offer process. We do not recommend specific commission amounts—the decision is entirely yours.
